“Suffer hardship with me as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.  No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.”

                            2 Timothy 2:3,4

Welcome to Christ Soldier, This is a site dedicated to all the men and women who are willing to live there life for the Christ who was willing to give up His life for them. I call you soldiers just as Paul did in his letter to Timothy because we live in a time where we must stand up and battle against the world and the so-called social norm. We are rebels rejecting the codes and conventions of society. It used to be the rebels where the greaser type with the switch blade back lot fights, smoking cigarettes and carrying a comb in there back pocket. They were the outcast and the minority. Today the gun tooting, womanizing, drug smoking, heavy drinking thug wears a $2,000 suit and his sins lump him in with the majority. The world idealizes these people. It gives them TV shows were they have multiple women come and spend a month getting drunk and having sex with them so they can decide which one “wins” it gives them music contracts and pays them to make videos that promote gang banging, drug dealing, lunacy.

Sin and living a life rejecting God is the social norm. The world expects us to conform or be silent. It say if we do not accept its people and their sin then  we are closed minded and should remain closed mouth. But we fight because we like Christ love the people in this world, and we refuse to conform (Romans 12:1 No longer conform to the ways of this world) or overlook (Ephesians 5:11 and have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness. Instead, expose them for what they are.) but instead we fight to save those who are lost, those who are enslaved to sin. We are soldiers leading a rebellion against this world that we live in but are not of. (John 17:15-16 “...They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world”)

Paul offten refered to those who walked with him in his work to spread the gospel as soldiers (2Ti 2:3) “Join me in suffering like a good soldier...”, (Phm 1:2)  “to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier...”, (Php 2:25) “Meanwhile, I thought it best to send Epaphroditus-my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier...”

“I am a soldier in the army of God.  The Lord Jesus Christ is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my Code of Conduct.  Faith, prayer, and the Word are my weapons of warfare.  I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire.
I am a volunteer in this army and I am enlisted for eternity.  I will either retire in this army at the rapture or die in this army; but I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable. If my God needs me, I am there.  If He needs me in the Sunday school, to teach the children, work with the youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me because I am there.
I am a soldier.  I am not a baby.  I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up, pumped up, picked up or pepped up. I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me. I am a soldier.  I am not a wimp.  I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name, and building His kingdom! No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy or give me handouts.  I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to. I am committed.  I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around.  I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside.  I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit.
When Jesus called me into this army, I had nothing.  If I end up with nothing, I will still come out ahead.  I will win. My God has and will continue to supply all of my need. I am more than a conqueror.  I will always triumph.  I can do all things through Christ. The devil cannot defeat me.  People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Battles cannot beat me.  Money cannot buy me.   Governments cannot silence me and hell cannot handle me.  I am a soldier. Even death cannot destroy me.  For when my Commander calls me from this battlefield, He will promote me to Captain and then allow me to rule with Him.  I am a soldier in the army, and I’m marching, claiming victory. I will not give up.  I will not run around.  I am a soldier, marching heaven bound.”  (Unknown)
